With the 2003 discovery of stem cells in dental pulp we can now look at oral health's impact in future health. Stem cells obtained from ones own pulp have the potential to repair damaged cardiac tissue and also generate bone and cartilage. This is our opportunity to hear from a leader in the field and visit the state-of-the-art laboratory where this work is being done. Dr. Matzilevich is the Chief Scientific Officer of the National Dental Pulp Laboratory. You will find him exciting, informative and enlightening.
